Tuesday 21/04 Happy birthday Aimee!!!!

Hello gang,

First of all a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Aimee!!! I'm thinking of you today Aimee, as I'm sure all the girls are too, and hoping you manage to make it a memorable one. This will be a birthday you will never forget, that's for sure! Also a big belated happy birthday to HANNAH, who celebrated her birthday during the Easter holidays. I hope you had a lovely day with your mum and Eathan on Friday Hannah.

How did you all get on yesterday? I hope you were able to do the maths. I'm attaching the answers here, and setting you some more maths questions for today. Today I would like you, if possible, to do the following work in these subjects. I will give some optional extras too if you are very speedy and would like some more ideas.

Firstly, let's start with English. You should all have your Reading Zone books. You got them the day we finished. I know Hannah and Grace were absent that day, so I will put photos of the pages up here for you, but it might be a little harder to make it out, so if you have the book that would be much easier. The last story we did together, I think, was Seventh Wonder. Have you gone on ahead and done Call of the Sea, p.107? Maybe some of you have been working your way through the book? If you could let me know where you are that would be great. For now, I'm going to ask that you read that story, p.107 to 109 and work your way through the activities (A) to (C). If you have that done already, which I think was in your work booklet, I'm giving you a different activity. Could you guys instead look at the poetry page attached. It's a very funny poem about superpowers that I think you might like. Then answer the questions.

Maths: Questions one to twenty attached as a warm up. Then watch the video about the parts of the circle here on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T471m6Hy_Zk and then complete this activity on the circle on ixl

Finally, if you missed Joe Wicks this morning, here is the video to do whenever you need a boost. Exercise is so important at the moment, it really helps to put you in a good mood. I even did yesterday's workout and found it brillinant!
