Reading websites
Hello everyone,
Hope you’re all well. Here are some websites that will help you to keep up with your reading while you are at home. Get your family involved and I am looking forward to hearing all about the books you read when we get back to school.
Let me know how you get on, I’d love to hear from you!

The Big Cat Collins series are great. Click on My Big Cat bookshelf, the books are organised in bands. You can see which ones suit your child. Books from the Red B, Yellow and Blue bands are similar levels to their Power Hour books.

You can start with the age 5-6 books and see how you get on. You have lots of time to get onto the trickier books as time goes on! You can read the books and also listen to them as you read long. There are ideas in each book on how parents can help.
David Walliams is an excellent children's author. He is putting read alouds on his website each day that children can listen to. Maybe listen to one first thing in the morning while you are getting ready, lie down and listen when you need a break during the day or listen to one at night before bed!
