St. Brigid's

Art is a big deal in the Junior Infant classroom. We do our main art lesson on Thursdays , but not a day goes by that we aren't expressing ourselves artistically.

We  colour, we cut, we draw, we stick, we create each day, and just like imaginative play, artistic expression is a huge part of learning in infants. 

The Youtube chanel, 'Art for kids hub' is a great place for art lessons. You will be AMAZED  by your child's drawings skills. Follows these step by step drawing lessons, and prepare to be blown away.

Following these art lessons will improve your child's listening skills and develop their concentration.  

Also, if your child is feeling anxious or in need of a calming activity (these strange times are hard on the kids ) I recommend doing a drawing lesson. I'm sure you will agree Art is very theraputic. Infact, these lessons will suit the whole family.
