Just a reminder to all St. Brigid’s families of the great news that as and from September 2021 St. Brigid’s Primary School will change to mixed boys and girls status!!
We were thrilled to be in a position to announce this change of status last April as it is something we have been striving towards for the school for some time now.
It means that the boys presently in First class in St. Brigid’s will not have to leave the school at the end of the year as we will be facilitating both boys and girls in 2nd class for the 2021/2022 school year and all subsequent years going forward.
It is a very welcome development for St. Brigid’s and enhances our strong policy of inclusivity. We are very fortunate that we have sufficient classrooms with toilet facilities to cater for this change. Looking ahead we will be very aware of providing extra activities and initiatives in the school catering for the interests of both girls and boys.
