CĂșla 4

I know that many parents may not have much spoken Irish at home, but there are plenty of fun and engaging resources online to encourage children to keep up their Gaeilge. In St. Brigid’s we try to use Irish informally throughout the day so you might be surprised at all the phrases they already know - they might even be able to teach you a few words!

Cúla 4 (linked below) is an excellent website to have saved on your laptop at home. It’s also easily accessible on an iPad/tablet or a mobile phone. It features loads of children’s TV shows, games, YouTube videos and competitions. In my experience Spongebob Squarepants ‘as Gaeilge’ is a real winner!
