St. Brigid's

Edco have made Bua na Cainte available for families to use at home which is brilliant news. This is the Irish programme that we use in St. Brigid’s and it is excellent! As a school, we pay a yearly subscription for our classes, but Edco have very kindly made it available for free for use at home.

Follow the link below to download the programme onto your laptop/computer. It would be a fantastic way to help keep Gaeilge alive at home, especially if you are not confident at the thoughts of having to ‘teach’ Gaeilge. Each topic is interactive and teaches vocabulary and phrases, using song, rhyme, story and games. The kids are used to it from school, so they could even use it independently at home.

To give you idea of what stage we are at, we were just about to begin the topic ‘An Teilifís’ (Television). If you click onto that topic, you can see there are 10 lessons available which you can work on over the next few weeks.
